Everyone I know who likes The Beatles are usually 30 to 40 years older than I am, and even they aren't as obsessed with them as I am. This band seems to be my Bible and every lyric of every song seems to make sense to me. Every note reaches my heart and plays with my emotions - good or bad. Does anyone else feel this way about the Beatles or am I just weird?

Do me a favor.bor3113. Read any books that are written about the fab 4 and how they made it to the top and about their lives before they were famous. It will make the songs come alive to you for real!!!

yes you are,
there are quite a few beatle lyrics that shouldn't make sense to anybody rational.

the beatles are awsome, they're the the most iconic band in history for a reason,almost everybody garners some sort of appreciation for them at some time in their life.

Nope, I know a lot of people(myself inculded) who are major fans. I think part of why they're so great is that their lyrics can mean many different things to different people, so almost everyone can find something to connect with in their songs.

Also, the music is just damn good.

Just as a sidenote, are you obsessed with the group, or it's music?

Both. If they weren't who they were, there wouldn't have been "The Beatles". Just, the 4 guys who can make music (like every other band out there now). No on ever strives to become legendary anymore.

I was asking because I have a friend who knows everthing about the fad four, such as their biographies, t.v. shows, and stuff like that, which I myself am quite clueless about.

I have a lot of their lyrics and notes memorized, though.

What's your favorite song?

What's your favorite song?

"Free as a Bird". It's so emotional 'cause Paul, George, and Ringo wrote the song for the Anthology when John had already died. They basically took what he recorded as a demo and turned it into a hit. Even "Johnless" they still managed to produce a Beatle song. So touching.

I like Here Comes The Sun, Come Together, and Maxwell's Silver hammer. And Helter Scelter. It really depends what mood I'm in.

the beatles kicked a** for sure. not only were there songs catchy, the lyrics were beautiful. have you ever seen ACROSS THE UNIVERSE? its an awesome movie and if you havent seen it because you think it is going to be cheesy. guess again.
