PTF![]() Indiana, | #1 Obama says election assessment of his leadership provided by ERICA WERNER - The Associated Press ![]() WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama said Wednesday that he'll be re-elected for a second term if voters feel like he's been on their side, working as hard as he can and getting things done. "If they don't," the president said, "then I'll lose." The blunt political assessment from Obama cast next year's presidential contest as a referendum on his leadership rather than a choice between him and whoever his GOP opponent will be. "That's not to say that the other candidate is irrelevant," Obama said, "but it does mean that I'm probably going to win or lose depending on their assessment of my stewardship." The president made his comments in an interview with KMBC-TV in Kansas City, Mo. He was responding to a question about who in the Republican field could beat him, but Obama declined to speculate, saying he was too occupied to be spending a lot of time worrying about the GOP hopefuls. ------------------ >> This dude has to be kidding if he thinks of having a second term as president. Anyone with brains will not put this dude and his regime back in power. Assessment ? Loss of jobs. Bad health care. More taxes. Baiting the Republicans. There's a classic hit by The Four Seasons..."Bye Bye Baby". ![]() <<

fractal7221![]() Hubbard, Ohio | #12 I honestly doubt Obama believes that. My guess is his campaign will focus much more on attacking the Republican candidate and less on his accomplishments. Just a hunch though, we'll see once a candidate is chosen.

You weren't alive in the fifties. And yes, our governor has made a promise to introduce marriage equality legislation like the one that just passed in New York in the next session, so my partner will be my husband. And my friends, husband, and I will vote for Obama. Every republican candidate has promised to put forth a constitutional amendment banning marriage equality, so none of them has a chance in hell of getting our vote.
