It's a question of privacy. Of course they like themselves but like all human beings, they want to better themselves, want to make themselves prettier than they currently are.
Moreover, a girl would like herself if you compliment her and if you act like a gentleman and not treat her as "the skinny girl or the stick girl or the fat girl".
And of course, the environment in which they have been raised also plays a role in the way they are comfortable @ showing parts of their body to strangers.

And thats a bunch of s**te, girls always hate their bodies unless they are stick thin, cus they think their fat. When their not, girls look better with curves.
