A friend wrote this poem for me...specifically for me they said. I don't understand it in the slightest. Can someone help me?

For you dissolve as you wish

A place where fire burns
a place where desire yearns
A place where water falls
a place where anyone calls

Deep in a cavern amidst the trees
a child toils with white leaves
One view may seem to complete
by far an unnatural feat

But, this is what he presumes
among the dying animal fumes
Traveling to the place of home
presented a coagula dome

Alternate substance sets a play
you can not survey
Hands unknown?
possible source renown?

Agreed I am not
for these times I have fought
Young he may be
short he may seem

But, aside from mind
aside from his decisions possibly kind
Lies a form so insecure
a project of lure

A sealed symbol of growth
a mind not denote
Practical knowledge leads no astray
but, it does find its' own way

A Jane
In fame
No Pain
No Gain

No mask of smiles
no regrets no denials
No shame of a game
no plot of infame

I may see light
in a dark and dreary fight
But what I see in you
is only in few

No strength in fives
no lies to benign
As it comes to an end
The end of the world, is not worth a friend.

Well there's definitely a story behind it but it's one of those really cryptic poems, you'd have to go to the source. All I understood was

I may see light
in a dark and dreary fight
But what I see in you
is only in few

Which I agree with by the way

Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could do only a little. -Edmund Burke
