OK, my wife (Peanut) and I have a small photography business -

Mangophotos

Things are really picking up for us, with a lot of offline sales in the last couple of months, and some upcoming commissions. So of course we want to ask people to direct friends and family to our website.

Unfortunately, due to an administrative cock-up on my part, we lost the domain name mangophotos.com and it's now being held ransom. I also just discovered that there's another photographer operating under the name of MangoPhotography. So it looks like we need to not just rename our site, but the company itself. Just as well we're not yet a household name.

Here's where the lovely people of TFS come in. I have no clue what to call the company beyond something lame like [our surname]photos. Take a look at the site, and suggest some names. If we use your name, we'll send you a free 8x10 framed print of your choice.

Should add some guidelines -

1 Short names will probably be preferred
2 Something that can turn into an easy to remember URL will probably be preferred
3 The best name in the world will be rejected if the domain name is already taken, so use whois.com to check if [suggestedname].com is available.
4 Something with photos, photography, pictures, pics, etc... in the name will probably be preferred.

Of course, rules are made to be broken (except No. 3)

Unfortunately you posted this about 60 seconds after Jill looked at me and said "I'm not having Peanut photos, or anything with Peanut in it!". I guess you can add our user names to the list of pre-rejections!

there goes my suggestion. . .

its good you say the user names should be added to pre-rejections, cause i doubt "Stumblinthrulifephotography" is all that catchy!
