Industrial-rock band Nine Inch Nails has wasted no time releasing its first album since becoming a free agent last October.

The Trent Reznor-led combo started selling an instrumental album, "Ghosts I-IV," on its Web site, link [www.nin.com,] Sunday. Fans can receive the first nine songs from the 36-track project for free, or can pay $5 for the entire digital album.

There are several other ordering options, each of which comes with immediate access to the album in digital form.

The standard doubl-CD set is retailing for $10, and will reach stores on April 8. A $70 deluxe edition and a $300 autographed version with ship May 1.

After Nine Inch Mails' contract with Interscope expired, the label released a remix album, "Y34RZ3R0R3MIX3D." The band's last studio release, "Year Zero," debuted at No. 2 on the U.S. album charts last April.

I've been listening to Ghosts I. It's good, but I'd say it's strictly for NIN fans. It's not very accessible.

I haven't had the chance to get near my home computer yet
Hopefully tomorrow night I can go straight home after work and it won't be occupied so I can download this baby

I'm a big NIN fan
Seen him lives 3 times, was even at the show here at Madison Sq Garden where Manson had come on stage for the last two songs.

I quite like it...
It's good for background music of course, it's not the sort of thing I can listen to and really enjoy, cos it is just a bunch of instrumentals without track names.
