YUP YUP. Thats my new backpack if you guys were wondering. Its 4200 in3 and my parents bought it for me for my 21st bday which isn't until august. But it was always my dads dream to go backpacking and he never got to so he wants me to do it. And I'm happy! I can't find a picture of the boots I just bought but they are Columbia. Now I need to get a sleeping bag and tent and I am ready. Oh yeah my pack has a 3 liter hydration system in it.

That.... wouldn't have been my choice, and it's very much not the type I recommended, but I'm glad you got one. Have fun backpacking.

I was recommending a pack that wasn't over 4000 ci and weighed 6 lbs.

I think you would be happier with a pack more like 3500 ci that weighs 3.5 - 4 lbs, like the Kelty Illusion 3500, Kelty Moraine 3600, or even Storm 3600 (if you have to get Kelty, which I understand many people do as that's all the local dealers carry).

My general preferences in the category and price range are for the REI Catalyst 55 and Gregory G Pack.

But, seriously, I'm sure you'll have lots of fun with it

The G-pack retails for roughly $120-$150, FWIW.

I don't think you'd like the G-pack though. I threw it out as one of my personal preferences.

Wow, thats a great outdoor b-pack. Heavy duty and tough for all weather.
Heres my backpack, its pretty heavy duty, its meant 4 school. It by Victorinox.

I love it, it is purple.

I've been trying to pick out a nice hiking/camping backpack, but I can't find one with a hydration system in it. They're sometimes compatible with camelbaks, ect., but nothing with one actually attatched.
It's very frustrating.
