Electric_Banana![]() Pastel Avon Suburbia, New Zeal | #1 Ok, so I keep saying that it feels like I've existed for 390 years instead of just 39. So we die multiple times and keep requesting to come back here again to continue again from our save point to piss ourselves off some more? Is the sex so great in Heaven that I had to keep running back to Earth for 390 years to take a break from it?

From what this guy seems to be saying is there really is no heaven except what you create for yourself in some alternate reality after you die. Given the choice to come back? Who gives you that choice? Is it God? What planet does he come from and how does he know what happens when we die? Sounds like more phoney promises to ensnare the weak and afraid.

Sounds like more phoney promises to ensnare the weak and afraid. Not sure Futile but I think guessing at what an afterlife really could be and trying to paint the same image to everyone is a bit haphazard. When it comes to the unknown there are a few unspoken sciences that we, ourselves, can confirm but all the details beyond that are speculation and assumption mostly influenced by our own personal experiences in life. For instance, I'm pretty sure I'm 'drawing' most of my knowledge from the air. Some feel this way too and refer to the invisible stream of wisdom and information as 'God' but as Assimove demonstrated in I-Robot is that stream could very well be like V.I.K.I which was a networked artificial intelligence. V.I.K.I. may have been 'God' to the androids but ultimately V.I.K.I. was a creation herself. Either way, Bashar and many others draw from this source but think many people make the mistake in believing that everything they are drawing is factual especially considering that source we're drawing from is all of us collectively and within the pool of information there could also be our bogus concepts as well as our good ones. So Bashar may be channeling speculation and relaying it as objective truth BUT that does not mean that Bashar is useless because really, no one should concern themselves with what happens after death and Bashar is taking the load off the worries of many by promoting a positive, uplifting or idealistic portrayal of it. And in the end as much as I might disbelieve Bashar, I can't prove him wrong because I don't truly know myself. I've just come to conclusion that a lot of this stuff is silly to go around worrying about because the end result is that it's keeping everyone from getting laid.

Electric_Banana![]() Pastel Avon Suburbia, New Zeal | #10 As with everything that I cannot confirm myself I consider them possible. As for making anything a solid conviction I tend to be careful.
