Has anyone seen/tried this yet? I don't know how new it is, but I discovered it the other night. It's this plastic spoon that comes with medicine inside it. You peel off the wrapper and mix it in a drink.

I mixed it in my hot chocolate and it was okay until the final few sips. I tasted the medicine in the after taste more than anything else.

Tonight I'm having it in tea and it's absolutely disgusting.

"Virtually tasteless" my ass!

I am sitting here shaking after each sip. Why am I torturing myself? I will stop at the pharmacy and pick up some capsules tomorrow instead

I almost bought some of that a couple of weeks ago when I first got this crap called a cold. I'm still coughing alot and my nose runs like a faucet too. I took some other over the counter stuff as well as a round of anitbiotics. Sometimes I think no matter what you do these colds just have to run their course.

But to answer your question no I've never tried that and after reading you post I'm damn glad I did'nt.

Your not supposed to take medicine with milk because it doesn't work.

She didn't say she took it with milk - many people make hot chocolate without milk.

But, there actually are some meds that are recommended to be taken with milk--it all depends on the type of medication.

I agree. But I needed something to help me sleep with this cold and this is all we had. The first time I had it I didn't really taste it at all. Last night I did.

I'm sure it does under high temperatures, but it's not edible or anything
