Hi,

I have been using Money v14 for a while and had lots of data and backup regulary. Today I had to delete my profile on my PC and recreated and then logged in to Money and noticed that my current account shows 0 balance.

How do i recover my account and my data back? I have tried the restore from backups without luck. Please help as i have a lot of information on it.

Raman

If you're using MS Windows, and you've deleted your profile, but left the Money Program alone,...what file are you opening with Money,....or, are you 'opening' a default-new-file, without entries?

Can you locate any of your other files (which would have been stored under 'your' profile, such as those in "My Pictures," or "My Documents"?

If you cannot locate your Money-file on the HD, you can copy the most recent version of it from your back-up files, to a pre-determined location, and then, use Money to open that file.

Was your data-file password-protected? Remember the password!

Thanks for you reply. I did not remove the program, only deleted the profile.

Infact backed up the profile and then deleted it. After recreating profile i copied the file (Money.mny) from my backed up My documents to my new profile and opened it and it showed current balance as 0.

The file size shows as 3.5 MB which i m assuming there is data in it.

This has driven me crazy.

Any suggestions
