It is difficult to chose between the old Star Wars and the Lord of the Rings.
I think I would be partial to the Lord of the Rings, I have read the books and the movies were very true to the story.

Original trilogy Star Wars, hands down. LOTR is okay, but there was just too much story in the books they either changed or had to leave out.

Honestly, I hated both movie sets. However, I loved "The Empire Strikes Back," mainly
because George Lucas did not write nor direct the movie, and it came out so well.

I respect the Star wars feeling sum have but I like the Lord of the Ring!

I saw Return of The Jedi in theaters and was hooked ever since. Love all six.

I love JRR Tolkiens books and the movies were superb.

Can't choose since I love both Sci-Fi & Fantasy movies.

i love lord of the rings i just personally think that the effects are awesome, i could all three in a row if i had the time. but i've never actually watched star wars.
