I'm looking for any free forums that don't mind advertising posts. I work for a rather large ebay business and we're trying to branch out into our own little market and I am just trying to get people to look at the site and maybe create a new account. I basically just want to get a few eyeballs on my site.

Suggestions?

You could try myspace

But for maximum results I'd suggest something like google adwords and also get your products listed on froogle.

most community forums frown upon that sort of thing labelling it as spam but some forum sometime have a SPAM section for this sort of thing - maybe it would be ok to include a link within your SIG, no idea what the rules on that would be

What about FROOGLE?

Yeah, most forums let you put a link to a site in your signature. That can be a good way to get some visitors especially if you post on forums related to your product or service.

Froogle is the best way I think. Totally free, and lots of exposure. Also PayPal shops is a good one. You can get listed on Paypal Shops for free when you have a business paypal account, which is also free.

And yeah, MySpace is pretty much made for that kind of thing, so you could make a business profile for yourself there.

There's one that I know of called the free advertising forum. I search on Google should locate it for you.

HEllo, I am new here but I saw your post and thought I would put my 2 cents in. You can try advertise4less.info. There is a forum there. (it's my forum and advertising is encouraged)

Well I hoe that helps.

Another place you might want to consider is Direct Matches. It's similar to MySpaces but is geared towards business. You can place ads, things like that as a free member.

You can also try something else besides posting in forums, such as link exchanges, article writing and posting your articles on free article sites, and you can do a press release. There are really countless ways to get some eyeballs to your site, but what you really want is for them to take some kind of action right?

That's where I say article writing or a press release can help.

If you have the budget, set up an Google Adwords and Yahoo Overture account send some a steady stream of traffic to your sites.

Make sure that you have a name squeeze on the page that your prospects are visiting.

All the the best for you !
