How many eco forests do we have? Is there enough to fill the demand for all the bags we will use and the paper we write on? Or will we have to take away from that?
As for dead wood, is there enough to fill the demand? i doubt it.

Someone negged me and called it spam, I think some 'little man' got upset with me bringing facts to his girlfriends thread

yes because it is becoming an enviromental issue where different species are becoming extinct.... and if we do not clean up the enviroment then what kind of future are we leaving for our children and their children? hmmmm? one day your great grand child is going to ask her/his mum "mummy where are all the dolphins?"

Animals have been becoming extinct forever!!! Tigers, pandas elephants all hunted and becoming endangered. Care about them!! Or what about bears that are kept for circus tricks.

If we don't make a fuss about all this then our children won't see them.

Eventually if you keep kicking up a stink then everything gets lost in the background noise.

You need to chose your battles and tbh I think recycling or find alternative fuels is more important than insists we reuse bags.

Even if I told the world, it would not be enough coz it was not said to you..

It's all as important as each other. Especially when it comes so close to wiping out a species which was already endangered. We already have options for alternative power sources ("biofuels" actually produce more CO2 and are using vital food stocks causing riots and starvationd ue to raised prices) but we don't use them. Wind farms, solar cells, hydro-electric, geothermic and ocean generated power are just a few.

Then maybe get out and protest about the fact that we don't use alternative fuels.

All are hugely expensive, who is gonna foot the bill? Maybe you should think who should be paying for it and then taking the fight to them?

Like they're more expensive than the damage this is all gonna do to the Earth over time as well as the price of fossil fuels when they really begin to run out! In the loing run, they will save money and if a bunch of 3rd years in Scottish High Schools can use them to come up with the power to run a small island then why can't people with more knowledge and experience find enough power from it to fit our needs? Sure, they all have their problems, but we can overcome them. Instead, the government wants to use nuclear fuel instead of local at more sustainable sources.

And for the record, I have taken action in this area. I suported a campaign by the Scottish Socialist Party to stop the push towards nuclear power.

Let me just stop you there.
That isnt my point.
My point is that someone still has to pay for your solutions, and if you want them to happen you should decide who should be paying and then go sell the idea to them.
As it is you came on here and tell us to use less plastic, which I pointed out is a well known fact.
If you wanna change the world then you need to give us direction, why dont you come up with a viable solution, find out who should pay for it and then encourage us to contact said people to help effect the change?
That would make a difference.
Like I said, im not having a go for the fun of it, it is constructive to have someone pick at your ideas, otherwise you may not see any of the bad points, its just a shame some members of this forum are too weak minded to realize that, and I think you could have the drive and passion to change something, so naturaly I will direct any advice I have straight at you...like it or not
