I just saw The Golden Compa** and as i havn't read Phillip Pullman's books i really enjoyed it. Usually I really don't like the harry potter esque magical made up words fantasy that there seems to be a lot of right now, but yeah good.

My one major criticism of the whole film is the little girl who they chose to play Lyra. Her acting was poor and i'm really not sure what accent she was attempting but it kept slipping and i found it annoying. I hope she gets better if they are making the sequels.

i recently watched.....ZOHAN.

now i am scarred for life. it was nothing but balls and butts. who likes that kinds of stuff...?

The Orphanage! To say the least it was interesting at best, but too predictable in my opinion.

But there is one part that I didn't expect and that was that she was the one that actually killed her own son without her knowing it....

Cloverfield.
Was told people had had felt sick trying to watch it in the cinemas because it was shot as if from someones video camera and expected to hate it totally but its actually a really good film I think, once it gets going which does take a while I'll admit

I had to watch most of it out of the corner of my eye. I liked it, there was one part that made the movie really good, but I won't say it here. Don't want to spoil it!

Rented Juno. Very cute. For some reason I found Jason Bateman kinda good looking in that movie. Weird.

It probably helped that I needed to keep stopping the film because my kids wouldn't go to sleep and I wasn't stuck watching the whole thing on a big screen
