Ok young Dil has woken up and is screaming for his mom..so I am going to run...was wonderful to get back to KK and catch up with all of you...will see you guys in the evening..

Nothing can beat the pleasure of watching your kids grow...and grow like you want them to be....basic good human being with the right mix of intelligence...

I think boys do that after 6/7 when they are suddenly very consious of gender differnce and then realise that their mom is also a girl but can't help loving her or expressing their love sometimes....Shad is doing the same thing that Dil does....he is ecstatic when his dad is all over him(sometimes I feel as if they are some lion cubs or something) but in public it is a big no-no...he's like Iam a big kid now and don't do the baby stuff with me in public...with me he is okay if it is just a simple hug...otherwise he quickly becomes so consious but enjoys it immensely...

Nafisa, I know what you mean...its also the biggests ense of responsibility that you would feel..its so much easy to take decisions at work vis-a-vis decisions on how you bring up a child.

Dil is going through the I hate girls phase right now. I keep telling him that I will ask him this question when he's 12 or 13!!

Yup Dil had great fun..he wanted to try and use their weapons which of course they refused! thank goodness for small mercies!! Am PMing you the link for my blog. Check the Petra pictures out...Petra is really beautiful!!

Dil has summer hols too so I am hard pressed to keep him occupied..he was to go to summer school for swimming and footer but developed a bad rash and so has to stay indoors ..just gave him breakfast.

Manu: Am still lurking around....oh yeah....as much it gives the biggest pleasure to bring up your child, I consider it as the toughest job on earth...coz it doesnot come with any preparation or manuals or a rule book.....each child is so different and as a parent you want to take the best decision in everything they do(atleast up until they reach the age/stage where they can do it for themselves)...from the smallest of things like how you conduct yourselves in front of them and how you become responsible and mature parents to take the right decisions for them...even though the little tips from elders/friends/others help, still it is upto you how they are all implemented and how well it is taken, so that we make sensible smart and good human beings out of these little kids...

Sorry for going on and on...guess its time for me to sleep now..

bye nafisa/manu: nothing gives one the satisfaction or the pleasure than being around children and having them grow up right. as for making decisions about children really agonizing at times, so much of responsibility na! and shreyas too going thru "I hate girls phase and I am waiting for him to get into his teens to tease him about it and yeah getting shy about public display of affection from my side and says amma dont call me nicknames in front of my friends
