I have been posting some of my mother's favorite artists in memory of her. She was an artist and an art teacher. We traveled the world over to more museums than I can remember. Miro' was born in Barcelona, Spain where I have family and he died in Mallorca, Spain where I also have family. Obviously, I was able to see his work up close. I'm not a huge fan, but in person, the colors are magnificent. He died in 1983 at the age of 90.
