If I didn't know who Amanda Palmer was, I would immediately judge her on the streets, just because she sings and sniffs ludly in public (with her headphones in) and she doesn't shve under ehr arms. Instead I admire her: she is an amazing musician and artist. So before we judge people, we should take a moment to think. Because they will almost certainly have somthing special, something amazing about them.

Agreed. Most people do base their 'impressions' just simply on how a person looks, or present themselves. I think we're all guilty of it, as well as stereotyping, much more than we think we are. Perhaps it's an unintentional thought that crosses one's mind when we look at a person, or simply the impression we get by how a person carry themself.

Sometimes we have to allow ourselves to get to know a person first. We may be pleasantly surprised.

Everywhere I go I have been given dirty looks by strangers but now as I am use to it, it doesnt bother me as much as it did two years ago I am an induvidual and proud of it fallowing a trend is not what I intend to do I just get out there to prove to everyone that I dont need to scream and shout "I dont care what you think" just to make a point

I see it is that people look at me becuase they are bitter and jelous also pretty much insacure they want to make a comment about me in order to feel good about themselvfs well they can try the petty snobs

When I was living and working in Sydney, there was this young bloke I knew who walked around in his faded jeans and plain t-shirts. His shoes looked ordinary and his facial appearance was healthy but that people would instantly see as a dole bludger, too lazy to work.

Well, too lazy to work was right about him but he is a self made millionaire two times. He said to me; "Why should I work when I can pay people to do my job for me?"

He was a top fella.
