There have been times when I type my information into a text field on a page and hit log in, or post, or submit, or whatever, and the information doesn't go through. Instead, the page will appear to just refresh.

This has happened on TFS but also on other sites too. Mainly Yahoo Mail. I'm not sure if I'm describing it well so let me give you an example.

I'll type my username and password into say, Yahoo's text input fields. I'll hit log in. Instead of taking my to my inbox, or telling me my password is wrong, or that my account doesn't exist, the page will simply reappear with empty text fields.

Sometimes I try hitting enter to submit the info, sometimes I try clicking the log in button, other times I have to open a new tab and go to the URL multiple times, other times I've closed Chrome and restarted it and then usually the problem goes away.

I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced something like this or if they know what could be causing it/how to fix it.

I've never had this problem with chrome... try clearing catch and history (Tools-Clear Browsing Data)

I use chrome and don't have those problems. I hope you get it figured out.

OK so this is seriously pissing me off. It's now happened on Yahoo mail, facebook, TFS, livejournal, and worst of all: Google Calendar. So I don't think it's an issue of compatibility since google calendar should work in google's browser
