What? The US gave Sadam all thoase Russian tanks and aircraft?

It was a plot by the U.S. government to make it look like they were Russian. I think we'll be invading them next.

Only white guilt could explain the insanely hyperbolic descriptions of Obama's "eloquence." His speeches are a run-on string of embarrassing, sophomoric Hallmark bromides. - Ann Coulter

Wow. I thought this was common knowledge.

The US did, indeed, support Saddam. The US helped him get to power and helped Iraq during the Iran-Iraq war. Iraq was, for a time under Reagan with Donald Rumsfeld (yes, that Rumsfeld) as an emissary, the third largest recipient of US assistance on earth.

The first Bush doubled US assistance to Iraq and, apparently, purposefully ignored Iraq as it obviously planned to invade Kuwait.

how many coincidences does it take to second guess logic and probability.

if there are enough variables, at some point the probability of a coincidence actually occurring is astronomical. until you've actually set aside all the facts and set them into an equation, nobody has has the right to claim they have basis in math or science.

i would do it, but i don't really have any doubts ( or a real knowledge of mathematics for that matter)...
