Maybe the reference about God and another mans wife, is the conceiving of Jesus?
or according to this guy making merry with the donkey instead.
yes but no where does it say Mary laid with God...Mary was a supposed virgin, so again I ask how did God lay with another man's wife...really it is in the wording the author of this thread chooses to use...hell I am by no means chrisitan, but I would never outright bash a belief and I feel in a way that is what the author seems to be trying to do...

I rolled my eyes because I wish if people were going to post stuff like this they would at least try to back it up with what they would consider eveidence. It's total bulls**t ,God did'nt sleep with Mary and anyone that has even any remote info on the bible would know that.

Ever noticed that some of us atheist have more knowledge of religion than half the believers?
I think that atheist and agnostics and deist just do more research on the subject is all...we don't just read the holy bible, and listen to what our priest/preacher says...we are searching for a more realistic truth, not what we are told is the truth..

Neatly said.
...damn I choose good friends sometimes.
Yeah you learn how to word things a bit better when you live in the heart of bible belt..well that and 2 years of posting on a local forum about religion helped too...Religion is such a personal thing, and I think trying to change a persons beliefs is wrong, but trying to understand a persons beliefs can do no harm, it is IMO a basic form of tolerance, but that tolerance must go both ways...

Taking God's Name in Vain...
In ancient times it was normal for kings to be the first with another‘s new bride. bulls**t
Scripture says that God did the same.Lie.
One of God’s main themes for morality is to not take another’s wife.

Is God breaking one of His own rules by practicing bestiality?
Beastiality? how?
Why would someone make a post like this -- with so many innacuracies?
My guess is we have a new-found atheist here, trying to mock God.
Why did anyone even answer this? Including myself.

Is He emulating man or did man decide to follow God’s example?
If you were an all powerful creator, would it not make more sense to create a woman as high on the pecking order as yourself or is it somehow better to use a lower species like humans to produce a son .
