Is college life really sex partying and more sex?

Is College life really like Girls Gone Wild? Are there some colleges that are exactly like that while others are conservative? Is it a spring break thing only? Tell me your experiences!

I do wonder if is like those movies with all of the partying and sex? well do they have fun fun fun and never really learn anything? and parents blow money like nothing. that would be fun to find out anyways. i mean i would love to learn some thing new. but I would also just like to see if whats on tv is real in some sense. eh maybe not..i just ramble ramble

well if you add football in there then yes it was. Should have study more than turn the play in and get the tackle.

My university years were 95% hard work. Lectures.... lab time.... typing up notes.... research.... writing reports, essays, findings.... tutorials..... study groups.... workshops..... more research... more lectures.... revision.... exams.... dissertation....

A never ending treadmill that seemed to just go on and on.

Yeah, there were fun times too... we did find time to relax and when we had that time, we made the most of it. Big time. There were parties, there was time for other things, but "sex, partying and more sex"..?

No. I spend most of my time reading, can't remember the last time I went to the pub or had fun at uni.

It'll be worth it in the end though.

When do you graduate, Sis..?

It will be worth it. That moment when you hear your name read out and you go up to collect your degree, with your family watching and feeling as proud as Punch... it really is an amazing moment. It IS worth all the hard work.

Next year. Thanks, yeah I'm hoping that if I keep working hard then I'll get a first which should make my job prospects a bit better.

I don't see the point in wasting all that time and money on messing around and barely putting any effort in. A bit of stress now will mean an easier life later on (hopefully).

I never went a single lecture when I was at Uni, every lecture was recorded and put on the website along with the notes so why bother going when your nursing a hang over?

I did Broadcasting (mostly radio) and Sports Media. I missed the days when the radio presenters had their groupies unfortunately But sometimes you meet a girl and mention radio and they go ohhhhhhh.

Yeah, I hoped for a first, too, but had to settle for a boring old 2:1 in the end. Still, my degree has served me well, so all good.

Perhaps we should have gone to Wave's uni and studied Sports Media too..!! Those media groupies sound... erm... interesting

Depends on where you go to school, I suppose...

Truth be told, if I was in college and staying up all night, chances are I was sitting in a living room (mine or someone else's) with a few other people pumped on coffee with a s***load of books sprawled on the floor. I actually miss all night study sessions.

But I do think the social aspect of the college experience...the partying, and yes, the sex...is important as well. I really do feel that, and I did do my fair share of both.
