He’s one of the most mentioned figures in early 80’s American punk cited as being the Tom Morello of his day. Black Flag had some great songs BUT a lot of Greg Ginn’s non-riffing guitar work sounded tuneless and amateur. Plus, if Rollins is to be believed, Greg Ginn was very difficult to work with. Is Greg Ginn overrated?

Ginn created Black Flag, but Rollins made it popular...
They both win.
