A couple of ideas...
First of all, some of the survey sites are legitimate, but never pay money to a site offering you a list of survey sites to join. Been there done that, not worth it at all. You can check out places like www.surveyspot.com and www.yourtwocents.com. I have gotten checks from both of them although it's only been for 10 or 20 dollars at a time and not with any regularity.
I've heard that some affiliate marketing is fairly lucritive, but I'm personally not internet savvy enough to create my own website and manage all that goes along with that.
So, here is what I do. I run a home business which cost me nothing to join. It's called My Power Mall. The only monitary requirement is that I purchase one thing a month. It could be as little as $0.99 for a music download, and it isn't difficult to find something that I would have purchased anyway because there are more than 1000 stores in my mall. Then, I tell other people about my mall through means like word of mouth, online advertising, etc, and when they sign up, I earn.
