International Talk Like A Pirate Day 2016

Does anyone have any plans for the special holiday this year?

I myself plan do dress in my finest swashbuckling garb and set sail with me maties to the nearest pub!

But...I don't have time to learn Somali.

some people offline, I should to talk English first. I been an American for 58 years, before I invade other countries, wearing a pirate suit.

We've got enough real pirates here in Cornwall (always have had) not to have to play Let's Pretend games.

Funnily enough, I've never seen any of them wearing frock coats, tricorn hats or sporting hook hands, eye patches and wooden legs. Perhaps they're all in Rio taking part in Paralympic sailing..!!

Most of it is hilarious fun. I wouldn't dare call it "good" music. It's just something to say "Hey look at this s***.".

Anyways, like I was sayin, there's pirate metal, pirate folk, euro pirate thrash, instrumental pirate metal, instrumental pirate folk, pirate shanties, asian pirate music, irish pirate music, traditional pirate lore, pirate drinking songs, pirate sing-alongs, tavern songs...

That... That's about it...

It's all hilarious!

Probably eat some weird looking, disgusting fruit, gain weird rubber powers that let me stretch my limbs to insane lengths and snap them back with tremendous force, then gather a crew of wacky, yet powerful like-minded individuals such as myself and search for a lost, legendary treasure thought to be hidden away by the Pirate King himself, Gold Roger.
