So im trying to gather as much information as I can right now. Specifically looking for statistics and such to do with families affected by mental illnesses and just mental illness in general.
Any suggestions as to where I can find that info? Havent really looked yet, thought I would check on here and see if we have any closet databases among us
Looking pretty much for Australian statistics...but right now anything will do. any help would be appreciated
I have an exciting new project to do with my new job

Try your local library. Especially in Australia, you should find good resources. (US Drug Administration is SO restrictive we can hardly even run clinical trials here. Very little research is done in the US because of this. Ain't that just dandy!!!) Call a Psychaitrist's office and ask. They can probably give you some resource information just for the call.

I'm taking a course in psychology and there are various statistics of mental disorders, although they're not for Australia but rather for North America. I remember there is 1 table (I'll need to look in the book for the specifics) but it was a survey in 2002 for Canadians with mental disorders and it is broken down by disorders and by gender.

If you want other ones, I'd suggest going to google as that is your friend.
