Hi folks does anybody here have an ISA? I have a HSBC current account at the moment but no savings account as such, I was wondering if anybody had any advice?
I know that HSBC do an ISA account but I'm not sure what is a good interest rate to aim for?

I would say to aim for something over 6%. Be wary of offers which seem to good to be true!

Are the investments insured by the FDIC? You have to really be carefull or your money might be at risk! It is said in the investment community to never chase a yeild as saftey is just as important as making a good return so best to be safe than sorry!
