Yes, people have to know it's a quote, it can only be like a few sentences or small paragraph, not the whole damn article, and you need to put a link.

If you're making an argument don't copy and paste the entire essay and promote it *as* your argument. Paraphrase it, or just post a small part of it - you can base your argument off of a particular essay. Definitely post a link.
It's just like in school. If I was writing a paper and found two articles that I agreed with, I wouldn't print them out, stick my name on top, and hand it to the teacher. I'd write my own words and cite my sources clearly so I do not take credit for things that aren't mine.

The consequences of not doing so have led to all sorts of legal problems, so do take this into account.

Except here I don't have to do all the Works Cited crap.  All I have to do is put it in quotes and add a link.

Post all the youtube videos you want. Google makes deals with the copyright owner to allow that.

The issue with that statement is that the owner of this website, supposedly you, is responsible of anything in it. You'd be the target of any legal action, which makes it most important for admins to keep these things away from the forum | | | |
