Upon the tree that I can see
From my bedroom window
Are a few little leaves and some more little trees
And they're sort of saying 'sindow'.

I like the tree that I can see
Oh yes, I really do
I will say to it in a very small voice
"oh yes, I do like you".

I got a gold star. The teacher was wrong to praise me, can you see why?

It took me so long to write the 1st couple of lines that when I got to the bit that needed to rhyme with 'window' I was stumped. No way was I going to scrap it and start again!

Still, it has made for entertainment ever since. Remember to listen, next time you are passing a tree on a breezey day....
