Is there anything that I can do to get people interested in reading my blog? I don't want to be a pest, but I would like some honest critiques.

if no one is interested in something they tend not to visit try posting in it so that people are aware of it

I've had a blog for three months, and no one visits mine either. lol

Think the Mexicans would buy California from us? We could trade California for some oil. It would be the "Fruits and Nuts for Oil" program.

maybe....Change the subject often and ask diff questions to see if you get a bite-be very active so any visitor can tell you are involved. So many topics.. but finding the one ppl will post on is like fishing so change up your bait-

Do you mean posting in my blog? I do that, usually every other day or so.. I don't want to just post something, just to be posting it. I like to try to keep things a little interesting. Maybe I should try something controversial?? But I'm leary of becoming a "sell out" just to try and get visitors.

There is no specific agenda. It's just my ramblings mostly. A friend suggested I try a blog because it could be somewhat therapeutic. Now, it's becoming a challenge to me!! Hmmm, maybe it's anti-therapeutic

There are a few things you can do to increase traffic on your blogs. For a start, joining a blogging community is a good place to go to talk to people and advertise your blog. A good one that I use is here:

Blog Catalogue

You can also index your site/blog onto Google so it picks it up in searches on the net, just Google 'google index' or there might be a link beneath the logo on the main search page.

Lastly, it's always important to regularly refresh your blog with new posts and try and interact with your readers. You can do this by adding in polls or asking the readers to contribute in some way. Ever since I started posting more than once a week my traffic on my blog increased dramatically.

Good luck with your blogs.

Thanks, I'm trying to join the community, but evidently so is everyone else!! I'll keep trying
