I've had so many complaints about the black. It's like people look at it and go 'it's too black, that's really weird for a good news website!' and then never use it. I want people to use it rather than just critiquing the colour when I try to show off the site... so maybe if I change the colour that won't be the problem. And by 'I' I mean my techie half of the website running project. :P
It'd be the same layout, but I need a different colour scheme option. That won't be the same colours as twitter, and won't clash, and are easy to read.

We originally picked black because then we could say 'our site may be black but our news isn't' as it's a site for good news.
