I love my grandparents more than my parents?

i dont know why the person i love most is my grandma she is so kind to me and my grandad did anyone ever get this if there granparents are still alive or not ?
i also cant bare the thought of them dieing i dont like thinking about it.

I was brought up by my grandparents so my bond with them is stronger (my grandad's dead now.) I do see my parents and get on with them ok though.

i think maybe and this is true because everytime my mum has spoken to me in the last 4 years its about work or something i have done wrong or anything very small she has a massive go at me i still love her but not as much as my grandparents

your relationship with your parents should get better as you get older, just hang in there because you are going through probably one of the hardest parts of your life right now

I have never had grandparents

We are all individuals, and we all have individual emotions. Sometimes, these emotions can be something we don't want to face, because we might feel guilty, as if we should like both parents equally for example, or in your case, that you are so close to grandparents.
My grandad pretty much taught me how to speak (There's a few on here who have met me, and noticed I don't speak like the average Yorkshire person - blame him ) He read to me, I was close to him.

There can be reasons we aren't close to one parent over the other - complicated reasons, but it's very normal, and I felt bad when I had these feelings until my brass teacher told me he was exactly the same. If you ask people (Like you are on here), then you'll find this is all very normal.
