Jihad was popular many years ago, there are probably cheap sets on ebay. They might even still make it although under a different name.

Jihad sounds a little ominous for a 10 year old but I will check it out. Thanks for the ebay suggestion i hadn't thought of that. Are there any good sports ones? :

Hmm yes, it's a vampire one. Card games aren't something I really into but there are usually ones associated with TV programs such as Star Trek. I'd have thought there would be sports ones, no idea thogh I'm afraid.

Well, it's similar to Yu-Gi-Oh, really except that you get more cards for the same price, the tournaments pays more for winning and it's more for mature players. I doubt you'll see any Yu-Gi-Oh card depicting a guy getting his head ripped off by a zombie or a dragon torching a knight.

Fair point, have you played "call of cthulhu", pretty damn scary if you play by candlelight! It's scared the living bejesus out of us on a number of occaisions. Not bad for a card game.

call of cthulhu - isn't that a role play game, I remember that from my uni days. Very scary if played in the right environment. I didn't know it still existed let alone was a card game. Where can you get it (this one would be for me, i think Sam, my 10 yr old can grow into it)?
