With the housing market the way it is I'm not sure I'd go into flipping houses. That said, I don't know anything about tennessee really.

My aunt lives in Tennessee and I'm not sure about humidity but I do know that it is quite a bit warmer than a lot of other states.

We went to knox count on vacation this year. Lake norris
was awesome. I have spent more time on dale hollow. DHL
is way north of you though. I am trying to plan a trip to lake fontana in the next couple years. It has the best
mountain views of any lake that I have seen. It is on the NC border and would be much south of knox. My family goes
to tenn every summer at least once.The Smokies are awesome
to hike.

The value of houses nationwide has gone down for the first time since they started keeping records on home values in the 1950's. Just something to consider. You might wanna wait about a year before buying anything.

It might be a good time to buy real estate since prices are lower a lot of places, i just don't see the huge levels of appreciation happening again any time soon.
