I have a website called <link removed by moderator> which is a free service for people to pa** on messages anonymously.

I am not making any money out of this and have no adverts etc but would like more people to know the site exists.

ANY ONE GOT ANY GOOD IDEAS?????

Ask two of your good friends to tell two of their friends to tell two of their friends... and so on and so forth.

Place banners in your signatures and profiles, ask friends and fans of the site to do the same.

Diamonds are nice and so are pearls... but nothing compares to us American girls.

Word of mouth is good.

You could also try some/all of these:

1) submitting to search engines and website directories.
2) add a link to it in your TFS signature so it shows when you post in the forum or any other forum for that matter.
3) Add a link to it in your TFS profile page.
4) add a link to it in you email signature so people see it whenever you send them an email.
5) Submit your site to social bookmarking sites like Del.icio.us, Digg or Fark.

There are lost of ways you can promote your site for free, you just have to be a bit creative.

You gotta work hard! Here's a list of what I do:

myspace profile
facebook profile
forum site profile (new)
post bulletins, comments, and blogs on all of those
you need email subscribers
pay for google adwords if you have the money
get tshirts made
get friends to add links to thier profiles
stickers, flyers, free items as handouts
the more content and links out there the more visible
everyday I add pages to my site, up to 80-something right now
chat in forums
pay for ads in magazines, other ad sites
sponsor things
every medium in your industry, get your name in there

That's a good list, get started!

There are several ideas already. You may want to have you some business cards made up and get them out. Word of mouth, signature file in your email, that way everytime you send out an email that site will be on it.

Don't forget there are plenty of companies out there who will do you 250 business cards for free, all you need to pay is for the posting. If you don't necessary need a fully professional image, then get some and hand them out wherever you can!
