Here's what you do.

1) Download and install Spybot Search & Destroy.

2) Run the program (don't scan) and install all updates.

3) Make sure you have the latest virus definitions.

4) Reboot your computer into safe mode.

5) Run a full Spybot scan.

6) Run a full system virus scan.

That *should* take care of it. If not, come back here and tell us exactly what is going on.

SpyBot S&D

HiJack This is also a great program, but you need to find an expert to interpret the output.

Also look for CWS Shredder. Cool Web Search is a bastard to get rid of, and even SpyBot struggles with it. CWS Shredder does just what it says on the tin.
