is it to learn this language? Ive always liked this language, but I heard there are many rules. Like how with french, the subject moves in the sentence, or something like that. Basically, you cant just plug each word in the order they would go in English, its more complicated then that. A little help?

Oh yeah, I've heard it is a very rough language. even aside from learning it. it's just rough. So...why you learning German???
Reasons I can think of:
School class
Moving to Germany
German family members
Visiting Germany and would like to know just what the heck you are doing in there
Just want to be fluent in another language

But if its the last one, just wanting to be fluent in another language... why German? Just really interested in the culture? Oh yeah - there is another reason. Let's pretend I've already added it to the list.

Don't worry... it's the same with Holland, but then you go to some countries and only a fraction of them speak English.

I had no idea that a majority of people you interact with spoke English till i got there

Honestly, many of the bands I listen to are german and it just seems like an interesting language. I would only be interested in learning it as a hobby, I dont need to know it. It would just be cool.
