George Lucas manages to get piss poor acting out of great actors? I just dont get it, all the charectors are so wooden somtimes

he doesnt choose the actors tho does he? so cant truly blame him!
i dont think great actors do sci-fi v.well!
dont know why they just dont!

I agree with steraw, a lot of great actors don't do Sci-Fi very well. They're too caught under what they've already done, and we look at them in the previous movies instead of the current one. Besides, Sci-Fi movies in general are harder to pull off, I think. You have to have the right mindset to be able to scream at the top of your lungs, "THE TRALFAMADORIANS ARE COMING!!!!!!" without cracking up. You have to believe, man.
