I don't understand? Why emo is a type of music? We already have goth which can be classed as emotional?? Like who likes emo? First there was punk then goth.. But emo?? Why? Alls it means is emotional.. Its so overated...?

You mean depressed? Coz emotional people are usually depressed by something or are having a hard time with life.. How can emotional be a dress sense or a genre.. Or a group.. There must be many fake emotionals out there if this is the case.. Its just a money scam for emo clothes, haircutts, etc.

emo is a trend, the demeanor of the people who follow it is part of the trend.
the name comes from the fact that they think its cool to be depressed or "emotional"
there are many solutions to the problem, few don't involve fire.

I suppose it does stop it from crowding other genres and it also goes to show the amount of depression in todays society.. And it would encourage it alswell.. So for that I am deeply unhappy!
