How many people took some form of French qualification, & then never spoke French again?

I took my French oral GCSE yesterday & already I reckon I won't ever use it again,
I want to be able to speak properly in French though

I've taken french for 3 years, but I'm really hoping to use it. I'll be taking it next year, and the summer after that, so summer 2010, I'm going to France and I am excited already

I'd like to live in Luxembourg, so it should come in useful.
