On that you and I can agree. It is the ultimate slap in the face to the poor around the world that we choose to use corn as an inefficient and expensive fuel source instead of eating it, which drives up prices for not only corn but also any livestock that relies on corn as a primary food source.

There are enough states that rely on ethanol to keep the cost of corn sky high though that corn based ethanol is never going to go away, at least not in this country. Gotta love the backroom deals on that one.

hemp seeds make oil from squezing, the rest of the seed becomes food.

Not any THC in hemp to speak of. Mary Jane on the other hand?
Maybe that's what this world needs. Drop doobies & kush smoke on all war zones!!!!

That looks promising- water can be problematic. Hemp should be raised more like it grows here- wild. We should be looking into a variety of resources.

Excellent point. Fresh water is going to become quite precious in coming decades. Certain parts of the US are already low on it and need to import it from other states. The more we use for "fuel" the worse the problem will be.
