As I said in another thread, I pretty much play classical instruments. The ones I can play at a performing level being clarinet, ba** clarinet, alto, tenor and baritone sax and oboe.
For my school music exam, I need to play something considered "modern popular music". What the hell is there that can be played on any of those instruments? The topic was chosen because the rest of my cla** play guitar, ba** guitar or drums so was the easiest.
Only thing I can think of is Baker Street, but there's too little in that for an exam. It also has to be with accompaniment, either recorded or live.
Any ideas?

Preliminary, thank god they're letting us pick topics next year. Small ensemble, jazz and 20th century.
Unfortunately, they won't count film music as it comes under a different area. I'm thinking of learning clocks on piano, but then I need to find a singer. Appeasement fails.
