So it's done...and I had planned on taking pics of the progress of it as it went along, but alas it didn't happen.

Best laid plans and all that.

This is the completed main box:




And then I didn't take any more pics until it was sitting in my front living room!





You can't see it too well in the photos, but the stiles in the front, sides, and back have detail trim set against them.

Overall, I'm pretty pleased with how well it turned out and it's very sold. Looking forward to my next project, whatever that will be!

Well, not exactly. I'm building a new chest to store blankets for our living room and I'm really enjoying it so far. I'm making it out of oak and it's going to have rails and stiles framed on the outside. I'll post pics when I'm done, but it may be a while because I'm taking it slowly and carefully, and can only afford to buy the lumber a little at a time as I work on it (oak can get expensive!).

I put this in recreation because it's a hobby of mine. Anyone else into woodworking?
