Monk 35882 points Deleted

22/M/Goodlettsville, Tennessee Join Date: Mar 2005 | I remember when I visited my first forum ever on the internet; it was the forum of a webcomic I liked.
The forum had the whole points system and had nice nicknames you got as you progressed in points, like TFS does.
I like talking and chatting and conversing, and I liked having points and such, and I had a lot of free time since it was the summer, so I posted a lot, even on my first day.
The people who ran the forum though, apparently just wanted a little bit of talk; they didn't want anything that didn't have vital use or some such crap. (Can you imagine that on TFS? All the games would be gone, as well as a good many of the discussion-related threads . . . hell, most of the site would be gone!)
Well, at one point, I noticed that some of my posts were being deleted. They simply vanished. I hadn't gotten any PMs from a mod or anything. Then, in one thread, the creator of the webcomic itself, the administrator of the forum, responed to a post of mine and told me to shut up. He didn't message me and ask me to stop posting so much. He didn't try talking to me in private at all. He just blabbed out on the forum, which was a very rude and inappropriate thing to do. I had never vistied a forum before and didn't know anything about them. I was learning and was, really, a complete n00b. Did anybody on the site try to help me? No. Did anyone on there care that I didn't know anything? No. Did anyone have any respect for me as a person? No.
Sites like that one exist all over the place, and they should be ashamed to have members. Thank God for TFS, where Mods will understand if you are new, where Mods will talk to you first in private, even if you do something incredibly wrong, instead of blasting you right on the forum. TFS rocks, and it's largely in part to the great Moderators who help maintain it.
So . . .
Can I get blessed now?
