I keep seeing these "green bags" on TV, and they say they can keep your produce fresh really long because of a mineral in the plastic that absorbs ethanol. But I was reading a study online that said that this mineral isn't really very good at absorbing ethanol. Then i saw these green bags in Wal-Mart. Usually it's only the useful products that manage to migrate from "As seen on TV" to Wal-Mart or Sears or something, isn't it? So has anyone used them?
I saw something similar on the television over here. I'd like to know about them, too.

Hi,flange. yes, they're JML things. From what I can find, they're just under a fiver for 15 re-usable bags.

Exactly. I could save a fortune on food that way.

Australia is now slowly gettin there act together with these green bags. I think its a great idea and that all unbiodegradable bags should be stoped. Thay just need to make a bit bigger ones

That's what I originally thought you meant by green bags until I read the posts and realized those cloth bags couldn't possibly fit your discussion
I've never heard of them. Can you post a pic or give some basic info?
