| Grasshopper Mop Monkey ![]() Fort Collins, Colorado | #1 I've tried moving him to a scratching post, but he just won't use it. All the door frames have all sorts of claw marks in the paint. And even worse, he used my LEGS as a scratching post! I love him dearly, but this is getting obnoxious. lol | ||||||

| Grasshopper Mop Monkey ![]() Fort Collins, Colorado | #10 Like carpet material, with themicrofiber on top. It's a small post... | ||||||
|
| sTreetAngeL root tedt ree ![]() in a paradox, | #11 It's most likly wood underneath. Maybe remove the carpeting part, and let him realize that 'particular' wood post is OKAY for him to scratch... Take his paws, and go up to it; digging his claws in, so he gets the message. | ||||||

EllaBelleAces![]() A little this, a little that., | #13 @Silly_Me Said ![]() Cats don't like citrus smells so maybe try a little diluted lemon juice on your paint work its worth a try. This. Also vinegar water works wonders as well. If you want them to switch to their scratching post, put catnip on it. Make sure it's clean as well, cat's won't play with a toy that seems old right off the bat. Snarky little creatures. | ||||||
