Taking it that you mean "I'm all for it", it is interesting that this view comes in from Australia.

You may know that animal welfarist philosopher Peter Singer got into very hot water for talking about humans having sex with other animals.

He effectively said that physically large nonhuman animals may not be harmed by sexual contact with humans - the male penis is not particularly large. This sort of point explains why animal welfarists have a problem with this issue. Most are totally against it, but many think it is ok to eat other animals and that seriously harms them!

Yeah but personally i wouldn't want to eat an animal that had been shagged by a man what would happen if this guy got the goat pregnant and it had kids?? oh i forgot goats already have kids i think there's a huge difference between eating an animal and having sexual intercourse with it but you know if man and goat are happy together then goodluck to them they have my blessing.

So, what is the huge difference? Simply that one is socially accepted and the other isn't?

There isn't a huge difference morally i agree.

I think both are unacceptable i was just joking about the "kid" thing.

I'm a vegetarian and don't believe we need to have meat in our lives to be fit and healthy, nor do we need to be having sex with animals in my opinion.

Yet it's still funny that a guy has married a goat and obviously people are going to take the mickey out of it.

I agree that people will make jokes. I'm not so bothered about
that - in fact, people often make jokes about issues they have
problems with as a form of psychological relief.

The fascinating thing about this issue is the thought of meat-eaters
trying to explain to their children why this use is wrong while
lots of other uses of animals are not.

They usually say things like, "it just is" as though it is
written in the sky somewhere.
