What do you think is a good font to use for formal letters? Stuff that might end up being used in a legal situation?

I know it doesn's really matter that much but ...

Depending on what it's for etc, I'd say stick to the most readable (TNR). I just think things are more respectful if it's readable, and not too casual looking. If that makes any sense

I personally like Arial.

At work we use comic sans because the dyslexia society say its the easiest font for people with reading problems to use.

But for legal stuff TNR i reckon.

If your not happy with using Times New Roman, try either Arial or a Serif font. Serif fonts are what they usually use in newspapers or dictionaries.

Arial is sans-serif.

For printed text, use a serif font like TNR.
For computer screen, use a sans-serif font.

I think Arial, I have to use Arial at work as military writing is all supposed to be in Arial apparently
