Does anybody here work with a financial advisor for their investments? I currently just research everything myself, but I am considering hiring a financial advisor. If you do, then do you have any recommendations?

I just curious to see if anybody found it worthwhile to have a financial advisor. If they got a a bigger return than when they were handling their own investments. I don't want to pay someone to do my work for me if I can do it and save money.

If you are planning to hire a financial advisor then you must be clear about what you expect from him. You must also know about your financial EQ, that is how you respond to ups and downs of the financial world.

Any good financial advisor will ask you some questions. And you must also ask some important questions to the advisor before deciding to hire him or her.

If you want the list of questions you must ask an advisor before hiring then just ask me for it I will send the list.

All the Best!

Hi

I recently lost 40% of my pension fund deposits, thats probably 60-70% from where it should, reasonably, have been. I know that many other people, particularly those near retiremant, have been hit harder. This fund was managed by my 'Financial Advisor'.

So I am thinking of either: managing my own pension fund in future, or changing my advisor.

I would be interested to see the list of pertinent questions from 'Jack Howard, India'

Regards

Quality in registered investment advisors varies wildly. Email me and I'll give you a recommendation in private email.
