Fight Club was one of the most eye opening movies I watched growing up. I think I was 14 when I first saw it. It might have also been the first R rated movie I had to sneak into a theater to see.

After seeing the movie, I started thinking about all the issues brought up in the film. How our lifestyles are shaped by the advertisements around us. How corporations put money in front of safety.

Where were you when you first saw Fight Club? How did it affect you?

I f***in love that movie! No idea exactly how old I was when I first saw it, but it was years ago. Still one of my faves. Pretty sure I watched it with a fat stupid ex. I believe it made me a bit more cynical, if that were possible heheh.

I was in an abnormal psych class when I first saw the clip where the twist is basically given away.

Luckily when I saw the whole movie I had conveniently forgotten the twist so the movie wasn't ruined It didn't really affect me...I just thought it was a good movie

You're kidding right .. the only reason this film entered anyones conciousness was because it had Brad Pitt in it.

That is not the only reason... David Fincher was pretty huge back then after Seven. Edward Norton was huge after American History X. And Chuck Palahniuk already had a cult following.

I think there were a lot of elements that added to this.

I'm pretty much oblivious to Brad Pitt. He's overrated.

I normally try avoid films with him in it, so that has nothing to do with me liking this film.

The first rule of Fight Club is: No one talks about fight club
