How is having bigger boobs going to make you more confident?

i don't think you should take confidence advice from a man with a bag on his head

I don't know much about the surgery and its affects. But you might want to check into how it will effect breast feeding, you may want to do that if you choose to have a baby. Also you might want to find out if it takes away stimulation while in the bedroom.
Those are just a couple things that I would consider if it was me.
I do get the self esteem issue. The world seems to revolve around the woman’s perfect body. It might make you feel better for a while but I don't think it will last before you want to change something else. But you have to be the one to make the choice.
I get wanting a perfect body honestly if I had the money just laying around I personally might throw the idea around myself.

Alright, so I'm almost 18 in like another month or so, and I am really considering getting a breast augmentation done. My breasts are a 36AA right now. I feel that it would really help my confidence. My boyfriend doesn't want me to get it done. He's not actively trying to get me to not do it, but he's kind of indifferent. He doesnt think I need it basically.

I think not only would it improve my physical appearance, it would help with my over-all self-esteem. I'm just wondering how many woman out there would be willing to do it. I've done quite a bit of research, and for the most part, I like what I hear. I wouldnt get them done a huge amount. I just want to be a full C cup, I think.

So how many woman would/have done it? If not then are you against it? Why?

I am looking for only serious answers and no flamers please

I have never been happy with my breast size nor the appearance of my breasts. But every man who has seen them has liked them. But I'm not out to please a man, I want to be happy! So I would say if it is going to make you feel better then go for it. I am still thinking about it!

I would say that if your self-esteem is that closely linked to your body shape and self-image, then you probably should consider therapy. It sounds like your boyfriend loves you how you are and a quick look at your pictures confirms that you are a good looking young lady.

My concern would be that you get the augmentation done, but you haven't addressed the underlying cause of your low self-esteem and you just move on to some other aspect of your body that you are not satisfied with.

Honestly I don't think I have ever personally met a women that thought they had great boobs. I think it has a lot to do with the perfect bodies we see on t.v, movies, magazines. We spend so much time comparing ourselves, while men are just happy to see boobs of any kind. It really is stupid on our part.

I agree with you completely. I was the unlucky one though out of my family. Both of my older sisters have giant knockers, mine have always been small. Except for now because I just had a baby...

I know so many women who've had plastic surgery, for breasts and other areas, who are very happy with their results. Personally, I don't think anyone under 25 or so should have any surgery. After that and especially after you give birth/breastfeed, go for it.
Just make sure you pic a good surgeon. Do not pick based on cost. You do not want the dr who offers a sale! You also do not want a dr. who advertises on tv. Any good plastics guy won't need a tv ad to promote him, he'll have great word of mouth.

I want a breast reduction *before* I have kids, and i personally think thats absolutely fine. My boobs are twice the size of most peoples when they're pregnant. I honestly don't know how i would be able to cope with them if they were bigger than they are now.

Even if I told the world, it would not be enough coz it was not said to you..

And plenty of walking adverts. How long until surgeons start branding, do you think? I mean, plenty of people pay a lot of money to be a walking advert for Gap, Abercrappy and Bitch, YSL, etc.... Why not the top plastic surgeon?

This makes me think of probably one of the funniest things I've ever heard. Lady with obvious boob job was walking past, I didn't think much of it, but then my friend's boss chipped in "look at that after market equipment!". I damn near peed myself. From that moment forth "after market equipment" and "no original fittings" have been common comments.

not breast tissue the fat that surrounds it in the armpits and such like yes. Women build fat on the breasts, stomach, hips and thighs by nature.

Think about it. In 10 years, so by the time you're 28, you'll probably have to have them replaced, and that's if everything comes out fine. So you'll have to undergo the expense and physical pain at least once every 10 years. That's pretty steep if you ask me. Besides, there are many, many things that can go wrong.

Our society tells women that they should look a certain way to please society. But having a procedure and risking your life isn't worth it for a society that ultimately doesn't care what you look like.

I have always had little boobs. I feel your pain, but in the end, little boobs do the same job as big ones, and that's what matters.
